3. Cleveland Guardians – The Guardians’ unbelievable season comeback garners them the AL Central title and can host the crew they leaped over, the Tigers, in a wild-card collection.
4. New York Yankees – The Yankees clinched a wild-card spot and can now host the Crimson Sox in a blockbuster first-round collection.
5. Boston Crimson Sox – The Crimson Sox return to the postseason for the primary time since 2021. They are going to tackle their bitter Yankees rivals within the wild-card spherical.
