The Wooden Award is given annually to the most outstanding men’s college basketball player.

Duke’s Cooper Flagg won the honor last season, but now that he has taken his talents to the NBA, who’s next?

Let’s check out the odds via DraftKings Sportsbook as of Jan. 8.

2025-26 John Wooden Award odds

Cameron Boozer, Duke: -190 (bet $10 to win $15.26 total)
AJ Dybantsa, BYU: +230 (bet $10 to win $33 total)
Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Braden Smith, Purdue +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)
Caleb Wilson, North Carolina: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)
Yaxel Lendeborg, Michigan: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)
Darius Acuff, Jr. (Arkansas): +5000 (bet $10 to win $510 total)
JT Toppin, Texas Tech +6000 (bet $10 to win $610 total)
Kingston Flemings, Houston: +7500 (bet $10 to win $760 total)
Darryn Peterson, Kansas: +7500 (bet $10 to win $760 total)
Trey Kaufman-Renn, Purdue: +9000 (bet $10 to win $910 total)

The Favorite: Duke’s Cameron Boozer is averaging 23.3 points and 9.7 boards per game for the 14-1 Blue Devils. In his squad’s 84-73 win over Louisville on Jan. 6, Boozer had 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The 6-foot-9, 250-pound freshman — whose father is former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer — plays for the Blue Devils alongside his twin brother, Cayden. Cameron is also in the early conversation as a player who could go first in this summer’s NBA Draft.

Dynamic Dybantsa: And that’s exactly what AJ has been this season for the Cougars. He’s BYU’s leading scorer, averaging 23.1 points per game and has helped lead his 14-1 squad to a No. 9 ranking in the country. In one of his most explosive performances this season, the freshman forward put up 33 points, 10 boards and 10 assists in BYU’s 109-81 win over Eastern Washington on Dec. 22.
