The Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup in back-to-back years, hoisting the trophy in 2024 and 2025.
Now that the new NHL season has started, should bettors back the Panthers to three-peat or should they have their eyes on a different team to take the crown?
Let’s take a look at the early 2026 Stanley Cup odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 8.

The Carolina Hurricanes (+750) are the favorites, with the Oilers (+800) and the Lightning (+850) not too far behind.
Sixth on the board at +1000 are the Panthers, the reigning champions who lifted the Cup after pulling off a 5-1 win over the Oilers in Game 6.
Sam Bennett, who led the league last postseason with 15 goals — including five in the Cup Final — became the first player in Panthers’ history to win the Conn Smythe Trophy. Oilers’ Connor McDavid won it last year.
The last team to win back-to-back titles before Florida was Tampa Bay in 2020 and 2021.
A team has not three-peated the Stanley Cup since the Islanders won four straight from 1980-1983.
At the very bottom sit the San Jose Sharks and Chicago Blackhawks, who both have +50000 odds to win the Cup.
