Peel Regional Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 5:30 p.m. in the area of Dratford Road and Balmoral Drive, east of Bramalea Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old man suffering from severe gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
