Three new titles join the Xbox Game Pass Premium tier today, expanding options for subscribers on the more affordable plan. Overthrown exits Early Access with its 1.0 update, while South of Midnight and The Alters make the jump from Ultimate and PC tiers.
South of Midnight
South of Midnight places players in the role of Hazel, a Weaver who mends broken bonds and spirits. Hazel embarks on a quest to rescue her mother, confronting dangerous enemies and revealing her family’s secrets. Players wield ancient powers to battle foes while exploring Prospero and repairing the Grand Tapestry.
Achievements in South of Midnight require 15 to 20 hours to unlock fully. No missable achievements exist, though players must collect various items scattered throughout the game.
The Alters
The Alters delivers a sci-fi survival experience where players control Jan Dolski, stranded on a hostile planet. Jan creates clones, known as Alters, each with unique personality traits. Managing their needs proves essential to avoid disaster.
The game features 55 achievements, with 40 missable ones demanding multiple playthroughs and varied choices. Completion takes 40 to 50 hours.
Overthrown
Overthrown transitions from Game Preview to full 1.0 release on Premium today, introducing achievements alongside major updates. New content includes additional enemy types, more plants, the Devourer creature, three new maps, airships, and other enhancements. The expanded world offers deeper gameplay beyond the preview version.
