Stephanie Clears Air on Post-Vows Messages with Danny
Stephanie, an intruder bride on Married At First Sight, has dismissed rumors of a cheating scandal involving groom Danny ahead of the show’s highly anticipated reunion dinner party. Producers plan to unveil an Instagram message exchange between the 32-year-old Stephanie and 34-year-old Danny, which occurred shortly after Danny ended things with Bec during final vows.
The conversation includes voice notes, love heart emojis, and selfies. During pre-reunion hair and makeup preparations, Stephanie shared the messages with Bec, a friend from the experiment who received her support after the split with Danny. Bec reportedly reacted with anger upon seeing them.
Just Friends, Insists Stephanie
Stephanie confirms she and Danny share only a platonic friendship. She initiated contact after noticing Danny had viewed her Instagram Story, alongside others from the show.
‘Neither of us slid into either of each other’s DMs. I saw that he had watched one of my Instagram Stories… and I was like, “Oh my god.” And I reached out to him [saying], “Hey, how are you going, are you alright?”‘ Stephanie explained.
She emphasized the exchange held no romantic intent: ‘Literally there was nothing to [our conversation]. And I know that [the producers are] probably gonna like make f**king mountains out of molehills. It’s bulls**t. There is nothing to it.’
Bec’s Reaction and Transparency
Bec expressed displeasure upon learning of the contact, but Stephanie maintained full transparency. ‘When she asked me, “Hey, have you heard from Danny?”, I was like, “Oh yeah, actually we have messaged,” and I gave her my phone,’ she said.
‘There was nothing for me to hide, so I was like, “Here, I’m sure you hearing that him and I have been in contact might make you feel a little unsettled.” So I gave her my phone.’
The discussion stayed friendly, with Stephanie noting, ‘I was like, “Oh my god,” it’s so good to hear your voice. You know, whether we like it or not, this experience will bind us together as a group forever.’
Stephanie even invited Danny to the reunion to ‘dress up all fabulous one final time’ and jokingly sought his support against her ex, Tyson, from whom she parted on poor terms. ‘It’s gonna be carnage. Poor Tyson,’ Danny replied, prompting Stephanie’s retort: ‘Not poor Tyson.’
As fellow real estate agents, they also chatted about the show’s impact on careers, with Danny commenting, ‘That s**t ain’t gonna earn you the doh the way real estate does.’
