Myleene Klass Hosts Classic FM Live at Royal Albert Hall
Myleene Klass captivated audiences as she hosted Classic FM Live at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday. The 48-year-old TV personality donned a stunning pale blue gown featuring a fitted bodice, sweetheart neckline, and flowing skirt. Pearl embellishments adorned the dress, complemented by a daring thigh-high split, while she posed confidently outside the venue.
The former Hear’Say singer elevated her ensemble with sparkling chandelier earrings and towering platform heels, adding a touch of glamour to the evening.
Event Highlights and Co-Host Dan Walker
Klass shares hosting duties with fellow Classic FM presenter Dan Walker. The lineup features standout performances by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, including Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Bizet’s Carmen, and John Williams’ score for E.T.
Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije’s Tribunal Against Walker
Earlier that day, former Channel 5 presenter Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije, 47, arrived at London’s Tribunal Centre wearing a cream blazer and black leggings. She faces a five-week employment hearing, accusing Dan Walker, 49, of bullying, sexism, and misogyny. Walker, ITN, and Channel 5 owner Paramount are named as respondents. Walker firmly denies all allegations.
Vanderpuije left Channel 5 in 2024 after more than five years on their news program, including the final 12 months alongside Walker, who joined in 2023.
Her lawyer, Jonathan Coad, issued a statement: ‘Claudia-Liza claims that she was the victim of a sham redundancy because as a whistleblower she made protected disclosures alleging that a toxic culture of racism, sexism, misogyny and bullying existed in the Channel 5 Newsroom, and that its editorial content reflected its racist culture. In her claims she alleges that ITN and Channel 5 have tried to cover up the racist culture at Channel 5 News which they have tolerated despite this breaching their statutory obligations. Claudia-Liza is constrained for legal reasons from saying anything further about her claims until the trial.’
Sources close to Walker state he categorically denies any sexism, misogyny, racism, or bullying. He has secured over 50 character witness statements from footballers, Olympians, BBC colleagues, and others. Officials note Walker was fully exonerated in an April 2024 workplace probe into misconduct claims due to insufficient evidence, following his full cooperation.
Reports indicate Vanderpuije shared email exchanges after being restricted from the newsroom, amid escalating tensions that led to a temporary ban by ITN’s chief executive, Rachel Corp. Colleagues reportedly remained supportive of Walker.
