Kelsey Grammer and his wife Kayte Walsh savored a romantic dinner date in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening. The 71-year-old actor beamed alongside his 47-year-old spouse during their child-free parents’ night out at E Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills. The couple departed with several bags and to-go boxes, balancing family life with quality time together.
Casual Style on Display
Grammer opted for a relaxed look, layering a white polo shirt beneath a black knit grandpa cardigan. He paired it with dark gray jeans and denim blue suede shoes for the low-key outing.
Kayte complemented the vibe in a baby blue sweater, dark blue slacks, and leather sandals. The dinner follows nearly six months after she welcomed their son Christopher in October 2025—their fourth child together and Grammer’s eighth overall.
Growing Family Legacy
Grammer’s journey as a father began in 1983 with daughter Spencer from his first marriage to Doreen Alderman. His eldest now in her 40s, he also shares daughter Greer, born in 1992, with Barrie Buckner.
From his marriage to Camille Grammer, he has daughter Mason, 24, and son Jude, 21. With Kayte, married since 2011, their children include daughter Faith, 14, sons Gabriel, 12, and James, 9, plus newborn Christopher.
Renewed Joy in Fatherhood
Sources close to the couple note that their June 2025 pregnancy announcement reignited a spark in their marriage. “Kelsey is thrilled to finally have time to fully enjoy being a father all over again,” one insider shared. “He’s been incredibly supportive of Kayte throughout this pregnancy, which has reignited a spark they both needed.”
The source added that Grammer looks forward to hands-on parenting after wrapping up the Frasier revival, canceled after two seasons. This marks a new phase focused on family.
In December 2025, Grammer reflected on newborn life at 70. “It’s wonderful, what a blessing it is to have a small child in my life,” he stated. “I turned tonight to look at my four kids and my beautiful wife and it does not get better than this.”
Comparing it to his first-time fatherhood at 28, he explained, “When you’re a young man, you try to carve out your niche and take care of the family and be the man you want to be, but that can be pretty time consuming.”
Grammer also praised Kayte: “He’s a really easy kid, but my wife Kayte has been exemplary… It’s great to have this new life in our life.”
