Brutal Attack Shocks Local Community
Authorities are actively searching for five individuals in connection with a brutal gang rape and assault that occurred on June 11 in the Begusarai district of Bihar, India. The victim reportedly suffered a horrific ordeal within her own home.
Details of the Attack Emerge
According to initial reports, the assailants gained entry to the woman’s residence by incapacitating her husband, locking him in a bathroom. The woman was then allegedly bound and gagged before being taken outside the home. During the assault, investigators state the woman was threatened with a knife and beaten before being raped.
The victim was eventually able to escape and alert her sister-in-law, who subsequently contacted the police. The husband was freed after the woman managed to call for help.
Disturbing Medical Findings
Two days following the incident, the woman sought further medical attention due to persistent pain. A thorough examination revealed that live bullet, a stone, and a piece of wood had been inserted into her body. Medical professionals believe these objects were inserted while the victim had lost consciousness during the attack.
Previous Incident and Official Response
It has also come to light that the victim had reported a prior attempted rape at her home. On that occasion, three men allegedly entered the residence, attempted to assault her, and stole cash and jewelry. No charges have been filed in relation to that earlier incident.
DSP Anand Kumar Pandey stated, “The accused involved in the incident will be arrested, and a speedy trial will be ensured. If any negligence on the part of the police comes to light, action will be taken against the concerned personnel.”
