Israel has stepped up its incursions in southern Syria, and the most recent strikes coincide with safety talks between Damascus and its long-time foe geared toward reaching a deal to scale back tensions.
Israel launched on Wednesday a collection of strikes on former military barracks in Kiswa, within the southwestern Damascus countryside, two Syrian military sources and state-run El Ekhbariya TV reported, making it the second assault inside 24 hours.
Requested for a response, an Israeli army spokesperson mentioned: “We don’t touch upon international reviews.”
There was no instant touch upon any casualties or injury.
