Before we know it, two MLB teams from each league will face off for one championship pennant.
With the MLB regular season completed, it’s time for playoff baseball. Let’s check out the odds to win the AL pennant and NL pennant at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 1.
National League winner
Dodgers: +200 (bet $10 to win $30 total)
Phillies: +215 (bet $10 to win $31.50 total)
Brewers: +330 (bet $10 to win $43 total)
Cubs: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Padres: +1500 (bet $10 to win $160 total)
Reds: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)

What to know: The Dodgers are the reigning champs and got their title defense off to a positive start, watching Shohei Ohtani hit two home runs in Game 1 of the wild-card series against the Reds. With that, they are now favored to win the NL, with their odds shifting from +280 to +200. In the other NL wild-card matchup, the Cubs took a 1-0 lead over the Padres, and watched their odds move from +700 to +500.
American League winner
Mariners: +190 (bet $10 to win $29 total)
Blue Jays: +270 (bet $10 to win $37 total)
Tigers: +450 (bet $10 to win $55 total)
Red Sox: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Yankees: +750 (bet $10 to win $85 total)
Guardians: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
What to know: And just like that, the Yankees are on the ropes. They fell in Game 1 of their wild-card series to the rival Red Sox, in New York, 3-1. With that, their pennant odds moved from +390 to +750, while Boston went from +900 to +550. The Tigers took over the third spot, moving from +700 to +450 after their 2-1 win over Cleveland on Tuesday, while the Mariners and Blue Jays maintained the top two spots on the board.
