President Trump has landed in Israel to supervise the historic hostage trade after brokering a cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas that put an finish to the bloody two-year-long battle.
Trump touched down at Ben Gurion Airport close to Tel Aviv at about 9:43 a.m. native time Monday morning, stepping off his aircraft to a red-carpet reception on the outskirts of Lod.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his spouse Sara had been seen with Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner on the airport forward of the president’s arrival.
His arrival comes as seven freed hostages had been seen crossing over into Israel.
