The ‘fall’ at Monterrazas de Cebu

The Monterrazas de Cebu is on the middle of a controversial debate on improvement and environmental degradation in Cebu’s upland areas

CEBU, Philippines – Simply days after Storm Tino (Kalmaegi) introduced extreme flooding to the province of Cebu, the Division of Surroundings and Pure Sources (DENR) introduced that it could examine the controversial Monterrazas de Cebu in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu Metropolis.

The launch of the probe, introduced on Friday, November 7, follows after residents within the barangay, particularly native officers, known as for an investigation into the water retention ponds of the Monterrazas. 

Netizens have additionally begun to spotlight the event undertaking of movie star engineer Slater Younger, referred to as The Rise at Monterrazas, and its place within the upland areas of Guadalupe which are linked to the extraordinary flooding within the downstream areas of the barangay.
