A tuk-tuk driver we stopped on the road took us to a vet who was his pal and who took care of cows in a farm. For the subsequent 5 days he took antibiotics pictures, we gave him meals and water and he began getting higher. We named him Floquilda — which turned to Floquildo after he grew little balls 🙂 Then got here the dilemma, for we have been backpacking in Asia for months already and it was time to go away Luang Prabang.
We knew we simply could not depart him behind. Subsequent we all know we have been travelling by Laos and Vietnam with a cat in a paper field! Finally we realized this example was not sustainable and with the assistance from a Brazilian NGO we put up a crowdfunding marketing campaign to carry him to Brazil. We would have liked assist paying for this journey docs, in addition to all of the vaccines and the transportation.
On June 2013 that 12 months I landed in Brazil with him He has been residing with us and his two different furry buddies Juca and Dinga ever since 🙂 The photograph connected is a collage that reveals his progress from Laos till now (truly he was in a lot worse state than confirmed there).
He has a Fb fanpage with many extra images and my weblog tells the entire story intimately. In nearly one 12 months that we traveled in Asia, Floquildo was the perfect factor that occurred to us 🙂
