Lola Young returns to the stage with an intimate performance at London’s Palladium on March 4, marking her first headline show of 2026.
Details of the One-Off Event
This one-off gig follows her cancellation of a 2025 tour due to exhaustion. The event offers limited capacity amid high demand, with tickets available from February 11 at 10am GMT.
“I’m going to be playing my first headline show in a while,” Young stated. “Performing live is everything to me and asking you, my fans, to show up for me after cancelling my tour is something I don’t take for granted.”
She continued, “I’m aware that with this being a one-off show that I can’t accommodate tickets for everyone who bought them previously. I can only hope that in time when I’m able to play bigger shows that you’ll still be willing.”
“Thank you all so much for believing in me, and giving me this time and space. Love you all,” Young added.
The performance promises a stripped-back, emotionally charged set featuring tracks from her new album I’m Only Fucking Myself and earlier hits.
Recent Grammy Success and Upcoming Appearances
2026 shapes up as a landmark year for the London-born artist. She recently won her first Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance with “Messy” and performed at the ceremony.
Young also performs at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 15. She leads nominations at this year’s BRIT Awards in Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Artist, Mastercard Song of the Year (“Messy”), Alternative/Rock Act, and Pop Act categories.
Background on Her Hiatus
Last year, Young collapsed onstage in New York City from exhaustion, leading to the cancellation of her Washington DC set and a UK tour planned for autumn. She stepped back from commitments to prioritize mental wellbeing.
She reassured fans via Instagram that she was “doing okay” after medical staff assisted her offstage.
Support poured in from peers, including SZA, who expressed gratitude for Young’s music and honesty, and Victoria Canal, who highlighted the mental health challenges of touring musicians.
