DHS pausing TSA PreCheck, World Entry applications amid funding lapse

The Division of Homeland Safety is suspending frequent flier and quick-processing applications for vacationers at airports and U.S. border crossings beginning Sunday, a DHS official confirmed.

The applications embody the Transportation Safety Administration’s TSA PreCheck, which permits vetted passengers to forgo customary safety check-in traces for faster passage, in addition to U.S. Customs and Border Safety’s World Entry, which provides equally fast check-ins for Individuals at U.S. ports of entry.
