Dalaroo Metals initiates systematic geological mapping at its Goldridge project in Côte d’Ivoire’s Bondoukou region. Early fieldwork delineates a continuous 2-kilometer gold corridor within the prolific Birimian terrane, marking the company’s first structured exploration in this gold-rich area.
Key Fieldwork Discoveries
The program targets 9 kilometers of prospective strike along a prominent northwest-southeast trend. Extensive artisanal mining scars the permit, with concentrated activity at the Amodi prospect tracing the 2km mineralized corridor. These surface features signal potential shear-hosted systems in silicified metasedimentary rocks, aligned with northeast-dipping structures matching the regional Birimian framework.
Six rock-chip samples undergo analysis at Intertek laboratories, with results pending. The site lacks prior modern drilling or detailed sampling, yet the structural setup offers a strong foundation for advancing exploration.
Favorable Geological Context
Goldridge lies 35 kilometers from Endeavour Mining’s 4.5-million-ounce Tanda deposit, amid shear zones and volcanic-granitoid contacts ideal for gold mineralization. Bondoukou’s geology mirrors Tanda’s, featuring shear zones and lithological boundaries that channel gold-bearing fluids.
Advanced Targeting Measures
High-resolution drone surveys map the 2km artisanal zone, confirming excavation continuity, structural lineaments, and alteration zones to inform trenching and drilling. A field camp at Tagbane village, 20 kilometers from key targets, enhances logistics and stakeholder engagement.
