An American Airways flight, operated by SkyWest Airways, made an emergency touchdown in Nebraska Monday evening after the pilots couldn’t attain the flight attendants and so they heard somebody outdoors the cockpit door, in response to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Flight 6469 took off from Omaha’s Eppley Airfield at 6:41 p.m. native time headed to Los Angeles, however nearly instantly circled, touchdown simply 18 minutes later, in response to the monitoring web site FlightAware.
“After touchdown, it was decided there was an issue with the inter-phone system and the flight crew was knocking on the cockpit door,” the FAA mentioned in an announcement.
