Discount retailer B&M continues its UK expansion with four new megastores opening soon across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. These launches highlight the chain’s strong performance amid challenges for other high street competitors.
Upcoming Opening Dates and Locations
The first megastore opens in Diss, Norfolk, on Saturday, February 28. Shoppers can expect access to B&M’s wide range of discounted products, including homeware, makeup, garden items, and seasonal goods like Easter chocolate.
Next, a new store in Strabane, County Tyrone, launches on Friday, March 20. The following day, Saturday, March 21, brings an opening in Fort William, Inverness-shire.
The largest of the four, featuring a garden centre, follows on Friday, March 27.
Strong Financial Growth and Recent Discounts
B&M, which operates in the UK and France and owns the Heron Foods chain, reported revenues of £5.6 billion in 2024, up 2.5% from the previous year.
Recent in-store price cuts on over 35% of selected products, averaging 1.8%, aim to drive further growth.
