Recent Cosmetic Procedure Sparks Concern
Bobby Norris, the 39-year-old star of The Only Way Is Essex, recently shared a video on Instagram revealing his swollen and bruised face following a face and neck lift combined with lower blepharoplasty. Fans expressed worry as he slurred his words while providing a post-operative update.
His eyes appeared nearly closed, marked by dark purple bruises across his cheeks and eyebrows. A tight band secured his head under the chin, with surgical drains in his neck.
In the video, Norris said: “Morning everyone, I have a hot drink tea or coffee? It’s tea…I think. That is nice on the old throat, nectar.” He displayed his breakfast of tomato, cucumber, cheese, bread rolls, jams, and preserves.
The post was captioned: “First Breakfast Post Op… BUT most importantly, my morning nectar!!! ‘Are you a Tea or a Coffee person in the morning?'”

Day-One Recovery Update
Earlier on Monday, Norris posted another glimpse of his recovery, showing extreme swelling around his eyes and cheeks. He explained the procedures: face lift, neck lift, and lower blepharoplasty to remove loose skin under the eyes, following an upper blepharoplasty in 2024.
He noted: “So I had surgery done yesterday so this is my first day post op, I thought I’d do a little bit of an update for you. So I’ve had face lift, a lower blepharoplasty which is like the lower skin under the eyes, had a neck lift.”
Gazing at his reflection, he joked: “We’re not getting the Vogue cover this month.” The caption read: “Fresh out of surgery… Face & Neck Lift + Lower Blepharoplasty completed yesterday. This is DAY 1.” He added: “The real transformation happens over the next few weeks.. Wait for the healing process.”
