Christian Bautista on bringing OPM to the world

MANILA, Philippines – Nearly each Filipino would know the track Rainbow — both from their childhood, from the flicks they watched, or from a random playlist on Spotify. Now enter Christian Bautista, one of many nation’s most famed singers, who does a rendition of the track that includes Indonesian artist Raisa.

Bautista shortly rose to fame together with his romantic ballads and heat stage presence, doing exhibits within the Philippines and all over the world. However this new track launch underneath Sony Music Philippines has opened up a brand new chapter in his profession.

On this episode of Rappler Speak Leisure, Rappler senior producer JC Gotinga talks to Bautista about what it means to deliver Filipino music to the world. He shares insights on his profession to this point and what he appears to be like ahead to, together with his dream duet.
