Q1 2026 Financial Highlights

Net income jumped to $196 million from $38 million in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 93% to $359 million, boosted by a $97 million positive non-cash metal price lag. The company generated $73 million in cash from operations and $5 million in free cash flow. Constellium also repurchased 1.2 million shares for $28 million, maintaining leverage at a healthy 2.2x.37

Strong Segment Performance

All operating segments showed gains. Aerospace & Transportation (A&T) posted record first-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $102 million, up 24%. Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products (P&ARP) achieved a record $151 million, a 152% increase. Automotive Structures & Industry (AS&I) improved to $24 million, up 50%. Raised Full-Year 2026 Guidance

Executives raised 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance (excluding metal price lag) to $900 million-$940 million, up from prior estimates. Free cash flow outlook now exceeds $275 million. The company reaffirms confidence in 2028 targets of $900 million adjusted EBITDA and $300 million free cash flow, excluding current favorable conditions.37

CEO Comments on Performance and Outlook

Ingrid Joerg, CEO, stated: “Constellium delivered strong results in the first quarter despite uncertainties on the macroeconomic and geopolitical fronts. We achieved improved financial performance across all of our operating segments, including record quarterly Adjusted EBITDA.” She highlighted benefits from North American automotive supply shortages, improved aerospace demand, and favorable scrap prices but noted ongoing uncertainties.36

Joerg added: “While uncertainties persist… we are optimistic about our prospects for the remainder of this year and beyond.” The results enhance Constellium’s positioning, though sustained performance amid volatile metal prices and market dynamics requires further validation.37
