Amid the forged shakeups at “Saturday Night time Dwell” forward of the Season 51 premiere, Ego Nwodim introduced her exit after seven years.
On Friday, Nwodim, 37, posted on her Instagram, “the toughest a part of an excellent get together is understanding when to say goodnight. However after seven unforgettable seasons, I’ve determined to go away ‘SNL.’”

The comic concluded her message by writing, “Week after week on that stage taught me greater than I may have ever imagined, and I’ll carry these reminiscences (and that laughter) with me all the time.”
After a praying arms and kiss emoji, she signed off by saying, “now invite me to your weddings please!” seemingly to her fellow forged mates.
Fellow comic Amber Ruffin replied in a remark, “Congratulations! So long as I can nonetheless watch you carry out, I’m good.”
