Prince Andrew faces intensified scrutiny following the release of new Jeffrey Epstein documents, including images that appear to show him in a compromising position with a woman. A lawyer representing Epstein’s survivors urges the former royal to disclose all relevant information, warning of potentially more damaging material ahead.
Newly Released Images Spark Concern
The documents, published by the US Department of Justice, contain photographs depicting Andrew crouching over a woman in what sources describe as an interior resembling Epstein’s New York residence. The undated images also suggest the prince touching her abdomen. Their origin remains unclear, but they have heightened calls for transparency.
Attorney Spencer Kuvin, representing victims, emphasizes the need for full cooperation. “There are more photos and videos very likely to be released. They will be more damning for Andrew and the UK government,” Kuvin states. He adds, “There are more victims, more women who have been abused in Epstein’s circle and we are going to see many more of them come forward and rightly demand justice.”
Political and Legal Pressures Mount
Prime Minister Keir Starmer reiterates that Epstein’s victims must remain the priority. When asked about Andrew providing testimony, Starmer responds, “As for whether there should be an apology, that’s a matter for Andrew. But yes, in terms of testifying, I have always said anybody who’s got information should be prepared to share that information in whatever forum they’re asked to. You can’t be victim-centred if you’re not prepared to do that.”
Andrew has been invited to testify before a US House oversight committee investigating Epstein but has not yet responded, according to congressional sources. Kuvin calls for international pressure: “This US administration needs to throw its weight and pressure at the British authorities, Scotland Yard, to get Andrew to give up everything he knows. I’d prefer to see him in the States answering directly to law enforcement here so we get the most thorough evidence from him.”
Revealed Email Exchanges and Invitations
The files disclose email correspondence between Andrew and Epstein post-2008, after Epstein’s conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor. In one 2010 exchange, Epstein mentions a “beautiful” 26-year-old Russian woman, describing her as “clevere [sic] beautiful, trustworthy.” Andrew replies, “Of course. I am in Geneva until the morning of 22nd but would be delighted to see her. Will she be bringing a message from you? Please give her my contact details to get in touch. A.”
Another message from Andrew in September 2010 proposes, “We could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy. A.” Epstein also appears to have received holiday photos of Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, in 2011 and 2012.
Exchanges involving Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, surface as well. In 2009, she thanks Epstein for his support, calling him “the brother I have always wished for.” Epstein later sought a public statement from her denying his pedophilia and claiming she was “duped.” In 2010, he inquired about the daughters greeting someone in London, with Ferguson noting Beatrice was with her father and Eugenie was away.
Broader Connections and Ongoing Probes
The documents reference Ghislaine Maxwell, jailed in 2022 for sex trafficking, discouraging Andrew from visiting Epstein’s island in 2002 due to other guests. Democrats on the US House Judiciary Committee demand access to the remaining Epstein files, estimating only half have been disclosed.
Over 1,000 mentions of Elon Musk appear, including 2012-2013 emails arranging a visit to Epstein’s island. Musk inquired about the “wildest party” but cited logistical issues for not attending. On social media, Musk clarifies he had “very little correspondence with Epstein” and declined island invitations.
Andrew, who lost his royal titles last year, denies all wrongdoing and settled a civil claim with accuser Virginia Giuffre in 2022. The scandal continues to unfold as more details emerge from Epstein’s network.
