Jennifer Lopez appeared effortlessly radiant during a weekend outing with her son Max in Beverly Hills. The 56-year-old performer, whose former marital home with ex-husband Ben Affleck recently returned to the market, arrived at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday in style.
Stylish Appearance at the Hotel
Lopez chose a long satin dress featuring a deep plunging neckline for the daytime event. Delicate lace accents adorned the upper part of the garment, paired with open-toed pumps. Her straight hair fell past her shoulders, parted in the middle. She complemented the outfit with gold earrings, subtle necklaces, and eye-catching bracelets, along with fashionable sunglasses and a brown purse slung over her right shoulder.
Arriving in a sleek SUV, Lopez held the door for her 17-year-old son Max as he stepped out.
Family Updates
Lopez shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, to whom she was married from 2004 until their 2014 divorce. Anthony is expecting his eighth child with his fourth wife, Nadia Ferreira, 26; the couple already has a two-year-old son, Marco.
The twins approach a major milestone, turning 18 on February 22. In a recent interview with E! News after a Las Vegas residency concert, Lopez shared insights into parenting her teenagers. “It’s funny, my kids are not very involved with mom’s work,” she said. “They’re like, ‘Work, come home, be home for dinner.’ That’s more what they’re concerned about.”
She noted that Max and Emme, both interested in music, pursue separate passions. “Some of the questions her kids often ask her are, ‘Mom, are you going to be here on the weekend? Can we do this? Can we do that?'” Lopez added, “They’re fans, they’re sweet. They’re proud of their mama.”
Las Vegas Residency and Career Reflections
The first leg of Lopez’s Up All Night Las Vegas residency ended earlier this month. She returns to the Caesars Palace stage for select dates from March 6 through March 28.
During recent performances, Lopez emphasized respect in relationships following her divorce from Affleck. While performing her 1999 hit “If You Had My Love,” she told the audience, “Because the truth is, if you wanted to have my love, you would have to earn it. You’d have to treat me right. You’d have to respect me. You’d have to accept me for all that I am.”
She continued, “You’d have to love me if you wanted my love. Am I right, ladies?” As cheers filled the venue, Lopez described love as “complicated.” “You can’t have love without heartbreak. You can’t. That’s what you sign up for,” she stated. “But there’s one thing that’s for sure. You can’t have Vegas without the King.”
In her E! News discussion, Lopez highlighted how the residency has evolved. “So, the show had to evolve. Vegas is a very specific audience and crowd. It’s very diverse,” she explained. “People are coming here to see all kinds of shows. And so, I’m really conscious of that when I’m putting a show together.”
Personal Life Developments
Recent reports confirm that the Beverly Hills mansion Lopez once shared with Affleck has been removed from the market again after a price reduction. The couple bought the 12-bedroom property for $61 million in 2023 and listed it for $68 million in June 2024, shortly before Lopez filed for divorce. It was taken off the market in July 2025, relisted later that year for $52 million, and now appears inactive. Moving trucks were spotted at the property on Monday, though plans for the home remain unclear.
Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in 2022. Lopez filed for divorce on their second anniversary in August 2024, with the split finalized in January 2025. Both have since acquired separate residences.
