Authorities issued a warrant for Kendra Duggar’s arrest on Friday in Washington County, Arkansas. Initial attempts to locate her at the family residence in Tontitown proved unsuccessful, but records from the Washington County Detention Center confirm her custody.
Joseph Duggar’s Florida Charges
Joseph Duggar was taken into custody on Wednesday in Lynn Haven, Florida, on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest after an investigator from the Tontitown Police Department reported past sexual abuse.
A 14-year-old girl, the alleged victim, described incidents from 2020 when she was nine years old and vacationing with her family in Panama City Beach, Florida. She reported that Duggar touched her underwear and genitals inappropriately.
Additional Charges in Arkansas
The Tontitown Police Department has filed new charges against Joseph Duggar, including four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment. Officials state these Arkansas charges remain unrelated to the Florida case.
