MANILA, Philippines – Lenovo’s Motorola introduced it was partnering with the GrapheneOS Basis to launch a future cellphone sporting GrapheneOS, a de-Googled and extra privacy-focused model of the Android cell working system.

In an announcement on Monday, March 2, through the Cellular World Congress in Spain, Motorola stated that collectively, “Motorola and the GrapheneOS Basis will work to strengthen smartphone safety and collaborate on future units engineered with GrapheneOS compatibility.”

A spokesperson at GrapheneOS in the meantime stated, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Motorola to carry GrapheneOS’s business‑main privateness and safety‑targeted cell working system to their next-generation smartphone.
