Maya Jama, the 31-year-old host of ITV2’s Love Island: All Stars, shared a joyful video of herself dancing in just a towel while singing in the shower upon returning to the UK from South Africa.
Celebrating Her Homecoming
Without makeup, Jama grooves to Jah Cure’s “Love Is,” waving her arms and belting out the lyrics. She quickly adjusts her slipping towel before stepping into the shower. Lifting her arm reveals a tattoo depicting three countries—Scotland and Sweden from her mother’s heritage, and Somalia from her father’s—arranged side by side.
Love Island All Stars Finale Results
Jama hosted the season finale on Monday night in Cape Town, where Samie Elishi and Ciaran Davies emerged as winners. The couple secured 35.22% of the public vote, ahead of Millie Court and Zac Woodworth (23.38%), Leanne Amaning and Scott van-der-Sluis (19.41%), Lucinda Strafford and Sean Stone (12.77%), and Whitney and Yamen Sanders (9.27%).
The Love Island: All Stars cast, including the winners, faced a five-hour flight delay at Cape Town airport due to a power outage caused by a fire.
Fan Reactions and Vote Controversy
While many fans celebrated the victory, some questioned the results online, suggesting producer interference with comments like, “That’s not our votes, that’s the producers votes.” Supporters countered, “Why everyone so bitter about Samie and Ciaran winning? My winners. Sammie and Ciaran the most genuine humble couple ever.”
Winners’ Background and Reflections
The show, which premiered on January 15, gives past contestants another shot at love in a South African villa. Ciaran gained fame in 2024, finishing second with ex-girlfriend Nicole Samuel. Samie appeared in the 2023 series and returned for All Stars.
Ciaran explained their win: “We stayed in our own lane, we didn’t go and cause huge problems in the Villa.” Samie added, “Maybe we’re relatable, real people? Very true to ourselves.” Ciaran continued, “The way we were with each other, that’s maybe why we got the votes.” Emotionally, Samie thanked voters, saying it was a “surreal moment,” before the couple shared a celebratory kiss.
The pair coupled up early after Samie’s bombshell entry. Ciaran told Jama he sensed a connection minutes after her arrival: “I knew Samie was ‘a bit of him.'” Samie agreed, noting no other bombshells compared: “No offence to anyone who came in but they didn’t even touch the sides compared to Ciaran.”
