Name it a symphony for dissolution. American thrash steel giants Megadeth have introduced their forthcoming album can be their final.
They may even embark on a farewell tour in 2026.
“There’s so many musicians which have come to the top of their profession, whether or not unintentional or intentional,” Megadeth founder and frontman Dave Mustaine shared in an announcement Thursday.

“Don’t be mad, don’t be unhappy, be completely satisfied for us all, come rejoice with me these subsequent few years. We’ve got accomplished one thing collectively that’s really great and can in all probability by no means occur once more,” he wrote.
“We began a musical type, we began a revolution, we modified the guitar world and the way it’s performed, and we modified the world. The bands I performed in have influenced the world. I really like you all for it. Thanks for all the things.”
