Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy enjoyed a dinner at the historic Lapérouse restaurant in Paris on Wednesday night, following their support for daughter Stella McCartney’s Womenswear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection at Paris Fashion Week.
Evening Outing Amid Fan Excitement
The 83-year-old musician and his 66-year-old wife faced an enthusiastic crowd of fans seeking autographs as they left the restaurant and entered their waiting car.
Paul appeared sharp in a navy blue suit paired with a classic white button-up shirt and a striped scarf for warmth. Nancy matched his style effortlessly with a navy blazer, coordinating trousers, a light-blue graphic T-shirt, and statement spotted earrings.
Front Row at Stella’s Fashion Show
The couple sat front row at Stella’s runway presentation, where Paul mingled with celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Hannah Waddingham, and director Baz Luhrmann.
Oprah radiated elegance in a structured salmon blazer and white blouse alongside her friend Gayle King. Hannah showcased her legs in a peach-colored satin minidress featuring a pearl-encrusted collar. She hugged Paul warmly as they posed for photos, after which he chatted with Baz Luhrmann.
Backstage, the proud father joined Stella, 54, who stunned in a grey blazer and tailored trousers. Stella shares this bond with Paul from his marriage to the late Linda McCartney.
Reflections in New Documentary
Paul’s Paris visit follows reflections in his Prime Video documentary Paul McCartney: Man On The Run, which traces his life from The Beatles breakup through his solo career and Wings era.
In an interview with director Morgan Neville, Paul addressed criticism: “Whenever I hear someone damning Paul McCartney, I tend to agree with them. So when everyone was saying I broke up the Beatles, and I was just overbearing and all of that, I kind of bought into it.”
At a London screening earlier this year, Paul grew emotional viewing footage of Linda, who passed away in 1998. They shared four children: adopted daughter Heather, 63; Mary, 56; Stella; and James, 48.
He shared: “Seeing me and Linda interacting is very special because, you know, she is not here anymore. Me and Linda, the kids. The music. Me and John [Lennon]. These memories, it is like a life flashing in front of you. There are so many cool things. Even though there are some embarrassing moments, I come out of it thinking, ‘Yeah, I’m OK.’ All the stuff with the kids and Linda is lovely to see. Obviously, it’s emotional because she looks so beautiful. She’s so cool.”
