ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – St. Louis County Govt Sam Web page will doubtless face trial on his election-related indictment in southwest Missouri.
In accordance with Missouri courtroom information, prosecutors and Web page’s protection lawyer collectively filed for a change of venue from St. Louis County to Greene County on Sept. 5.
In July, a grand jury indicted Web page on two counts of committing Class 4 election offenses, one depend of stealing $25,000 or extra, and one depend of stealing $750 or extra. The indictment stems from allegations that Web page used public funds on a flyer opposing Proposition B, a county poll measure final April.
Web page has pleaded not responsible to all prices.
If convicted of stealing ($25,000 or extra), a felony cost, Web page may resist 10 years in jail, based on state sentencing pointers.
Web page has served because the St. Louis County Govt since April 29, 2019, taking workplace after the resignation of his predecessor, Steve Stenger.
