Sarah Discaya arrested over P96-M ghost mission in Davao Occidental

MANILA, Philippines – The Nationwide Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested embattled contractor Sarah Discaya on Thursday evening, December 18.

NBI spokesperson Palmer Mallari confirmed Discaya’s arrest, including that the contractor will likely be detained on the NBI custodial facility contained in the Bureau of Corrections in Muntinlupa Metropolis.

She will likely be transferred there on Thursday evening, too, Mallari added.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. introduced in a video message earlier on Thursday evening {that a} native courtroom had issued a warrant of arrest towards Discaya and her fellow accused over a P96-million ghost mission in Davao Occidental.

Discaya has been beneath the NBI’s custody since her give up there on December 9.
