The Seattle Seahawks lost starting running back and Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. With that said, Seahawks President of Football Operations and General Manager John Schneider is bullish on the team’s ability to replace Walker.
“That’s a position where you can find guys,” Schneider said on Thursday in an interview with 710 Seattle Sports when asked about the state of Seattle’s running back room. “Obviously, [Walker was] excellent, and everyone’s actually excited for him. I imply, that’s a fantastic, nice contract for a working again. However George [Holani] did a fantastic job. We’re actually enthusiastic about Emanuel Wilson, who we obtained from the Inexperienced Bay Packers, a heavy runner with very nice ft.”
Walker signed a three-year, $43.1 million cope with the Chiefs earlier this month, along with his roughly $14.4 million common annual worth rating fourth amongst NFL working backs.
