MANILA, Philippines – The Senate committee on agriculture, meals, and agrarian reform, headed by Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, probes on Wednesday, August 20, excessive costs of meals and agricultural commodities.
In response to Pangilinan’s decision, the inquiry will advocate “measures to make sure meals affordability, strengthen meals safety, and shield the welfare of Filipino shoppers.”
