WASHINGTON — Three states moved to deploy tons of of members of their Nationwide Guard to the nation’s capital as a part of the Trump administration’s effort to overtake policing in Washington by a federal crackdown on crime and homelessness.

West Virginia mentioned it was deploying 300 to 400 Guard troops, whereas South Carolina pledged 200 and Ohio says it is going to ship 150 within the coming days.
