SHANGHAI (Reuters) -Storm Matmo hit southern China on Sunday, the state broadcaster mentioned, after flights and plenty of occasions had been cancelled within the island province of Hainan, inflicting disruption in a peak vacation season.
Matmo, which induced flooding within the Philippines final week, made landfall on the east coast of Xuwen in Guangdong province round 2:50 p.m. (0650 GMT).
