CHICAGO (AP) — Texas Democrats on Thursday moved nearer to ending a virtually two-week walkout that has blocked the GOP’s redrawing of U.S. Home maps earlier than the 2026 election and put them underneath escalating threats by Republicans again residence.
The Democrats introduced they may return as long as Texas Republicans finish a particular session and California releases its personal redrawn map proposal, each of which had been anticipated to occur Friday.
