Timm Hanly’s Dramatic Transformation
Timm Hanly, the 31-year-old former star of The Bachelorette, has revealed a strikingly different appearance that has left followers surprised. The reality TV personality shared his updated look on Instagram, showcasing a refined nose following surgery to correct a collapsed septum.
In recent videos, Hanly appears shirtless, highlighting his muscular build and prominent tattoos across his chest, arms, and neck. His facial features now seem sharper, with a narrower and more symmetrical nose compared to his earlier images. This change contrasts sharply with his past on-screen persona, which featured long blond curls, a crooked smile, and a slightly irregular nose that added to his playful charm.
Addressing Rumors in an Instagram Q&A
During a candid Instagram question-and-answer session, the Melbourne entrepreneur tackled speculation about the surgery’s cause. Fans frequently asked if his nose issues stemmed from excessive cocaine use or partying.
“Alright, let’s just clear things up before we get right into this question box,” Hanly said. “90% of the questions are like, is this from too much cocaine? Is this from too much partying?”
He addressed the rumors directly without evasion. “We can’t rule out that it wasn’t from cocaine or partying ’cause I’ve done lots of that in my life,” he admitted. However, Hanly clarified that his past excesses were not the primary reason. “But I stopped doing that about five years ago when I started Front Runner, and I still had two good nostrils when I ended my partying career,” he explained.
Instead, he attributed the damage to his boxing experiences. “I did have a boxing camp after that, which I got absolutely fing pumped in… my nose got broken a couple of times, so I’m gonna say boxing – but we can’t completely rule out the cocaine fing conspiracy,” he joked.
Hanly emphasized his commitment to positive change. “But yeah, those days are over… I’m done with all that. Everything I do now has a purpose.”
Lifestyle Overhaul and Personal Milestones
Hanly has been transparent about shifting his habits in recent years, moving from late-night socializing and heavy drinking to prioritizing fitness, business, and family. In 2020, he described entering a new life phase, crediting his streetwear brand Front Runner for providing focus. “I’m in a really good place at the moment,” he stated. “It’s like part of growing up. It’s sort of exciting. It’s like I’ve stepped into a new world.”
That same year, he announced going sober after recognizing his binge drinking had become unmanageable.
His transformation aligns with recent personal achievements. In November, Hanly married his longtime partner, Briana De La Motte, in an intimate lakeside ceremony. The couple, who co-founded the successful fashion brand Front Runner, shared joyful photos from the event after years of an on-and-off relationship and a two-year engagement.
Highlights included Hanly tearing up as their two-year-old daughter, Harper, walked down the aisle, and the pair smiling amid falling white petals.
