Shooting Incident and Manifesto Details
Suspected gunman Norah Cole Allen, a 31-year-old from California, allegedly sent a manifesto to family members shortly before opening fire on Saturday night. In the document, Allen identified as the “Friendly Federal Assassin” and ed intent to target Trump administration officials. The manifesto labeled Trump a “paedophile, rapist, and traitor.”
Allen detailed plans to use buckshot instead of slugs to minimize casualties, noting it would reduce wall penetration. The text also indicated willingness to kill everyone present at the scene.
Trump’s Fiery Response
During the confrontation, a journalist read excerpts from the manifesto, prompting Trump’s outburst. “I’m not a rapist. I didn’t rape anybody. I’m not a pedophile,” Trump stated forcefully. He added, “You read that crap from some sick person? I got associated with all—stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated.”
Trump further remarked, “Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let’s say, Epstein or other things. But you should be ashamed of yourself reading that because I’m not any of those things.”
Suspect Background and Charges
A Secret Service agent sustained injuries but was protected by a bullet-resistant vest and is expected to recover fully. Allen faces formal charges at a hearing in Washington today.
