An 18-year-old man has been formally charged in connection with an arson attack targeting Jewish charity ambulances in Golders Green, north London. The charges relate to assisting an offender.
Allegations Against Subhan Ahmed
Subhan Ahmed is alleged to have facilitated efforts to conceal the involvement of others in the incident. Specifically, authorities state that Ahmed made arrangements to dispose of a vehicle in an attempt to help individuals evade arrest and prosecution following the attack.
Previous Charges in the Case
This latest charge follows earlier indictments against four other individuals in relation to the same incident. Hamza Iqbal, aged 20, Rehan Khan, 19, Judex Atshatshi, 18, and a 17-year-old male, whose identity is being withheld due to legal restrictions, have previously been charged. The attacks targeted Hatzola emergency vehicles on March 23rd.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and further details are expected to emerge.
