Prince and Princess of Wales Vacation in Courchevel
The Prince and Princess of Wales recently took a discreet ski holiday in the luxurious Courchevel resort in the French Alps. Last month, the couple dined at a high-end mountainside restaurant, where menu items include a truffle-infused ham and cheese toastie priced at €85.
A restaurant staff member described their visit: “They had a very nice time and were very polite.” Fellow patrons photographed the pair from a distance as they departed, noting their polished appearance in ski gear.
One diner shared excitement: “I couldn’t believe I was having lunch in the same restaurant as Kate and William. They looked adorable in their beanie hats.”
Known as the “Saint-Tropez of the slopes,” Courchevel features Michelin-starred restaurants, designer boutiques, and draws celebrities like George Clooney and the Beckhams.
Details remain unclear on whether their children—Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7—joined the trip. The family first explored the French Alps in 2016 and has returned for private ski outings, including one early last year with the Princess’s relatives at a mountaintop venue.
