Lisa Rinna, 62, suspects she was drugged during the season four premiere party for The Traitors, held at The Abbey in West Hollywood on January 8.
Concerning Incident at the Event
Co-star Colton Underwood, 34, grew worried when he observed Rinna appearing completely inebriated despite consuming minimal alcohol. Underwood stayed by her side throughout the evening and alerted her team, who escorted her from the party after she posed for a group photo with fellow cast members.
No confirmation exists on whether Rinna sought medical attention at a hospital or if authorities got involved.
Event photos capture Rinna seated with her husband, Harry Hamlin, 74, co-star Maura Higgins, and Underwood. Underwood’s husband, Jordan C. Brown, also attended.
Tensions from The Traitors
Rinna and Underwood clashed frequently during filming of The Traitors. She confronted him again during the reunion special, recorded earlier this month.
At a February 21 book signing for her memoir at a Los Angeles Barnes & Noble, Rinna addressed their dynamic when a fan inquired about ongoing friendships from the cast. “Pretty much everyone,” she replied, per fan video. She added, “Except maybe Colton is mad at me because he unfollowed me. He unfollowed me like a boyfriend, girlfriend thing. I was like, ‘Wait what?’ Don’t exes unfollow each other? Anyway, guess I might have said something at the reunion that got him mad.”
Rinna emphasized, “It was all in game play.” She clarified she avoided personal attacks, specifically denying references to Underwood’s past involving ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph.
Background on Past Restraining Order
In 2020, Randolph, a former Bachelor contestant, obtained a temporary restraining order against Underwood, alleging he placed a tracker on her car and harassed her. She withdrew the request two months later, and they resolved the matter privately.
Underwood stated at the time, “Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me. The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”
During the book signing, Rinna noted, “I didn’t even know about that, until I did. I kept it to game play so don’t think I ever said anything about that stalker past.”
Last month, Rinna commented “Let’s talk about you being a stalker…” on a social media post mocking Underwood. She later expressed regret in a video on January 24: “It’s come to my attention that my post that I responded to in my Housewife mode is taking on a life of its own. It’s causing real problems for Colton and I do not want this because Colton and I are great. He was a great, and is a great, nemesis for me on the show in the game. Now, as you know, if you ask me to be a Housewife I’ll bring it to you, right? That’s what I was doing, all in the name of the game. But just so you know, I am totally great with Colton. I have been texting with him. We talk. Everything is great.”
The Traitors season four finale airs on Peacock on Thursday, February 26.
