Brown entered the barn to jump-start a vehicle when the fire erupted. He quickly urged a family member to grab a fire extinguisher. By the time family members reached the structure, flames had fully engulfed it.
Officials ruled the cause of death as diffuse thermal injuries and smoke inhalation, classifying the manner of death as accidental. Brown’s daughter confirmed his passing.
