Over the following two weekends, Los Angeles will probably be flooded by long-distance runners and the movie trade’s largest stars — a lot to the delight of followers and the dismay of drivers making an attempt to make their manner by way of the town.

  • East sidewalk and curb lane of Highland Avenue from Yucca Avenue to Sundown Boulevard (8-foot pedestrian entry, 300 ft south of Hollywood Boulevard solely)
  • West sidewalk of Highland Avenue from Hollywood Boulevard to Sundown Boulevard
  • West curb of Highland Avenue from Johnny Grant Approach to Hollywood Boulevard

These roads and sidewalks will probably be closed from 4 a.m. March 15 by way of 4 a.m. March 16:

  • North and south crosswalks on Hollywood Boulevard on the Highland Avenue intersection
  • Highland Avenue from Sundown Boulevard to Franklin Avenue
  • Hollywood Boulevard from La Brea Avenue to Orange Drive
  • Hollywood Boulevard from Highland Avenue to Cahuenga Boulevard

These roads and sidewalks will probably be restricted to native residents, companies wants and emergency autos from 12:01 a.m. March 15 by way of 6 a.m. March 16:

  • Hawthorn Avenue between Orange Drive and La Brea Avenue
  • Hawthorn Avenue between Highland Avenue and McCadden Place
  • McCadden Place between Yucca Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard
  • Yucca Avenue between Highland Avenue and Wilcox Avenue
  • Wilcox Avenue between Sundown Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard
  • South sidewalk of Franklin Avenue from Orchid Avenue to Highland Avenue
  • Hillcrest Street south of Franklin Avenue to the useless finish
