Chloe Pink Reaches Breaking Point Amid Online Harassment
Chloe Pink, wife of North Melbourne defender Toby Pink, has publicly addressed relentless online abuse targeting her ability to conceive. In a series of Instagram stories posted on Monday, she highlighted the cruel comments and expressed frustration over people liking the insults.
Chloe described the harassment as “relentless and exhausting,” urging those responsible to reflect deeply on their actions. She questioned, “How can you be this cruel? How can you think any of this is OK?”
Targeting Fertility and Weight
The comments focused on her weight and fertility, with Chloe warning that further insensitive remarks could push her to her limit. “I swear to god, if I get one more comment about my weight in terms of fertility, I’m going to lose my s*it,” she stated. “It is cruel, invasive and deeply hurtful. I cannot understand why so many of you are threatened by the fact my husband and I love each other.”
She emphasized that her weight stems from underlying health conditions, adding that no one has the right to comment on her body simply because her husband is a professional athlete. “Being married to a professional athlete does not give anyone the right to comment on my body or size,” Chloe asserted. “Frankly, that’s no one’s business, and it shouldn’t matter either way.”
History of Body-Shaming Abuse
This latest wave of criticism follows previous incidents. In April 2025, Chloe revealed a flood of vile remarks about her appearance after sharing wedding photos from her March marriage to Toby. Trolls posted comments such as “Did he marry a fridge?” “AFL player by day, pig hunter by night,” and “Did he marry an NRL prop forward?”
Similar abuse struck after North Melbourne’s Best and Fairest Awards night last year. The attacks left Chloe emotionally distressed, and her husband Toby was shocked by the vitriol. “He really was in shock,” she shared. “People say bad things about footballers, but they talk about how they play, not their appearances.”
The couple cried together over the comments, which were so severe they had to delete them and disable comments entirely. Toby has remained supportive, reassuring her of his love and affirming her beauty. Chloe noted that the harassment stems from not fitting the “typical WAG mould.”
