Bobby Norris, the 39-year-old former TOWIE star, reveals he is grappling with insomnia following recent cosmetic procedures on his face, neck, and lower eyelids.
Latest Instagram Update
In a Friday Instagram post, Norris displays his severely swollen and bruised face. He explains his sleep struggles: “So it’s another night of not being able to sleep. I don’t know why the last couple of nights I have struggled so much. I’m up early doors for the hospital, I’m going to see my surgeon. I get picked up at 10am so I’m looking forward to seeing him. I took my pain relief and everything, I just can’t sleep. I’ve been able to close my eyes and grab an hour here and there.”
Norris captions the video: “Insomnia and Chinese.. Does anyone else really struggle to sleep after they’ve had surgery?? The anesthesia can really mess up your body clock for a few days. The first week was so up and down, but thankfully I’m back to my “usual” (insomniac) sleeping pattern.”
Fan Concerns Mount
Followers express worry in the comments, urging Norris to pause further changes. One writes: “So worried 🙁 I hope Bobby realises he is beautiful and just stops.” Others add: “Bobby I really hope this is an older video as you still look in so much pain”; “PLEASE STOP! This is heartbreaking, you were beautiful. Please stop”; “Why put yourself through this, makes me feel so sad for you.”
Previous Procedures
These treatments follow Norris’s 2024 upper blepharoplasty, facelift, neck lift, lower blepharoplasty, buccal fat removal from cheeks, chin liposuction, and 360-degree body liposuction. Initially sharing post-op footage, he joked while gazing in the mirror: “We’re not getting the Vogue cover this month.”
Norris has dismissed rumors of gender reassignment surgery amid his transformations. He previously admitted to overdoing fillers, offered freely during his TOWIE days, stating: “Sometimes you aren’t aware of how you look until you see certain pictures or a paparazzi shot. I don’t look like me anymore.”
Expert Insights on Risks
Cosmetic surgery specialist Dr. Mo Hamed, focused on natural aesthetics, notes Norris began with a youthful, baby-faced look on TOWIE, progressing to Botox, jawline and cheek fillers. Recent surgical steps, like buccal fat removal for a contoured jawline, carry long-term risks. “The longterm impact of losing your buccal fat pad can be disastrous because it can help to give the face a more youthful look as you get older,” Dr. Hamed explains. Norris also underwent 360 liposuction for body contouring.
