Dana White and Eddie Hearn continue their public feud amid the launch of Zuffa Boxing, which challenges Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing promotion. The two promoters have exchanged barbs, even floating the idea of settling scores in the ring, though it seemed more rhetoric than reality.
Behind-the-Scenes Fight Proposal
Tensions escalated when White disclosed during the UFC 327 post-fight press conference that Zuffa Boxing partner Turki Alalshikh actively pursued a boxing match between White and Hearn.
A reporter asked White about the possibility, prompting him to respond, “Don’t you think Turki would try to do that fight?” When pressed further on whether an offer was made, White confirmed, “Of course they did. Yeah.”
White Dismisses Hearn’s Boxing Skills
White dismissed the matchup’s viability, suggesting it could at best open a fight card rather than headline one, especially as he nears age 57. He sharply criticized Hearn’s abilities, stating, “Eddie Hearn’s a p*ssy, he ain’t boxing anybody. F*cking posting pictures of himself hitting the speed bag. Looks like it’s in slow motion.”
White contrasted Hearn with Tito Ortiz, adding, “Well, Tito’s dumb as hell, but Tito’s not a p——. Eddie Hearn’s a p——.”
