Amanda Holden returned to Heart Radio on Wednesday and playfully confronted co-host Ashley Roberts about a hilarious revelation from the I’m A Celebrity… South Africa series, filmed last year.
Ashley Spills on Amanda’s Lightning-Fast Bathroom Breaks
Roberts, 44, a Pussycat Dolls singer competing in the show, had her campmates laughing during a recent episode when she described Holden’s exceptionally quick toilet visits. “She can poo quicker than anybody I’ve ever met in my life,” Ashley shared with fellow contestants. “She’ll have her stiletto heels on from the studio. A song will be playing and she’ll run off during the link. Then suddenly she’s back and I’m like, ‘You did not just…’ “And she’s like, ‘Yep, feeling great!’ Then she’s straight back on-air doing a link like nothing happened.”
Live on Heart Radio alongside Roberts and Jamie Theakston, the 55-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge admitted she watched the clip and loved it. “You know I can run down there, do a poo and come back before the end of a song,” she explained.
Theakston acknowledged Holden’s speedy habits but questioned why Roberts shared the story publicly. “I’m proud of it,” Holden laughed, unbothered by the exposure. “She is the quickest poo-er in the land!” Roberts joked. “I need a sash or a crown,” Amanda replied.
Holden added she sees no reason to linger in the bathroom. “Just get out,” she said. “I don’t even like sitting down – especially in public toilets. Fire and go!” Shocking her co-star by revealing she avoids sitting, she quipped, “I’ve got the strongest thighs in showbiz!”
Ashley Names Her Closest Campmate
Roberts also shared who she missed most from the jungle challenge. Contestants vying for Legend of the Jungle include Ashley, Scarlett Moffatt, Sinitta, Sir Mo Farah, Seann Walsh, Adam Thomas, David Haye, Beverley Callard, Gemma Collins, Craig Charles, Jimmy Bullard, and Harry Redknapp.
“I had good relationships with everybody, I was lucky in that sense. But, me and Scarlett were bush sisters – and we still are,” she reflected. “Honestly, I couldn’t have gotten through that without her. We just kept each other sane. You know when you look at someone across the room and you just know what they’re thinking? We were always on the same page. It was pretty much that.”
Tensions Flare Over Food Challenge Loss
Tensions rose in camp Tuesday night after the Rhinos beat the Lions in a challenge, securing more food for dinner while the losers got rice and beans. Frustrated heavyweight boxer David Haye threatened to steal the victors’ supplies. In the Bush Telegraph, he declared, “If the food comes across, whoever it was potentially for – or not for – is neither my concern. I’m going to take it and I’m going to eat it.”
