Tom Vaughan, Scott Mills’ husband, broke his social media silence to mark their two-year wedding anniversary. He shared a poignant black and white photograph of the couple on their wedding day via Instagram, accompanying it with the simple caption “Two years” and a red heart emoji.
In response, Zoe Ball commented with “Love you” and a string of heart emojis. Sara Cox also offered her support, leaving heart emojis in the comments section.

This marks Vaughan’s first post since Mills was dismissed by the BBC. The sacking preceded revelations that the Metropolitan Police had initiated an investigation into the 53-year-old in 2016. The investigation concerned allegations of serious sexual offenses involving an individual under the age of 16.
The BBC confirmed awareness of the police investigation into Mills in 2017. A spokesperson stated the corporation “acted decisively” upon receiving “new information” in the weeks leading up to his termination.
