In the NFL, winning your division is often a sign that you can win the Super Bowl.
Consider this: Of the last 14 Super Bowl champions, only one did not win its division in the regular season — Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2020.
In other words, teams should start with their division and go from there.
Let’s check out the odds for the division winners at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 10, as well as what to know about each division and its current standing.

NFC EAST
Eagles: -1200 (bet $10 to win $10.83 total)
Cowboys: +750 (bet $10 to win $85 total)
What to know: It might seem like the Eagles (8-5) are still heavy favorites, and they are, but consider this: They’ve lost three in a row, including one to the Cowboys (6-6-1), and just two weeks ago, Philly was -8000 to win the division. So things have indeed tightened up. The Eagles get the Raiders next week, which should help them right the ship. But if they somehow lose that one? Watch out.
NFC WEST
Rams: -145 (bet $10 to win $16.90 total)
Seahawks: +185 (bet $10 to win $28.50 total)
49ers: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)
What to know: The Rams and Seahawks both boast 10-3 records, after L.A. blasted Arizona in Week 14 and Seattle rolled the Falcons. L.A. owns a win over Seattle this season, and the two teams will meet once again in Week 16. Oh — and San Francisco (9-4) is just one game back, coming off a bye week and has a Week 18 tilt scheduled against Seattle.
NFC NORTH
Packers: -250 (bet $10 to win $14 total)
Bears: +310 (bet $10 to win $41 total)
Lions: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)
What to know: The Bears (9-4) and Packers (9-3-1) faced off in Week 14 in Green Bay, with the Pack claiming a 28-21 win and once again taking over the top spot in the division standings. However, the Packers have back-to-back road games on the books, at Denver and then at Chicago. That Week 16 matchup with the Bears could very well decide the division.
NFC SOUTH
Buccaneers: -300 (bet $10 to win $13.33 total)
Panthers: +240 (bet $10 to win $34 total)
What to know: The Bucs started the season 5-1, but they have now lost four of their last five and are tied with the Panthers at 7-6, with the two teams scheduled to face off twice before the season ends.
AFC EAST
Patriots: -550 (bet $10 to win $11.82 total)
Bills: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
What to know: Would you have guessed at the beginning of the season that the Pats would be on the brink of winning this division? Of course not. New England is 11-2, has won 10 straight, and has a victory over the Bills (9-4) in Buffalo. Meanwhile, Josh Allen & Co. are 3-1 in their last four. The Pats host Buffalo in Week 15.
AFC WEST
Broncos: -650 (bet $10 to win $11.54 total)
Chargers: +475 (bet $10 to win $57.50 total)
What to know: The Chiefs have won the AFC West nine straight times, but this is the year that streak ends. Denver is 11-2 and the Chargers are 9-4, meaning L.A. isn’t out of it but will need Denver’s momentum to slow. The Broncos host Green Bay in Week 15, followed by games against the Jags, Chiefs and Chargers.
AFC NORTH
Steelers: -170 (bet $10 to win $15.88 total)
Ravens: +170 (bet $10 to win $27 total)
Bengals: +1500 (bet $10 to win $160 total)
What to know: The Ravens (6-7) had won five in a row, but have now lost two division games in a row in Baltimore, including a Week 14 loss to the Steelers. Now, Pittsburgh (7-6) is back atop the division standings, and the Ravens have four games remaining against Cincy, New England, at Green Bay and at Pittsburgh. Yikes.
AFC SOUTH
Jaguars: -165 (bet $10 to win $16.06 total)
Texans: +150 (bet $10 to win $25 total)
Colts: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)
What to know: This division appeared to be the Colts’ (8-5) to lose, but they have suddenly lost four of five, fallen to third in the division, and quarterback Daniel Jones is out for the year with a torn Achilles. Wild. Making matters worse for Indy? It closes out the season at Seattle, against the 49ers, against the Jags and at Houston. It appears this division will now be decided between the Jags (9-4) and Texans (8-5).
